1. Dabble Sports and Application of Rules
1.1 “Dabble Sports” is the trading name of Dabble Sports Pty Ltd, ACN 641 982 425, a company incorporated in Australia under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). All references to 'we', 'us' and 'our' in these General Rules, Terms and Conditions ('Rules') are a reference to Dabble Sports.
1.2 Dabble Sports is licensed as a Sports Bookmaker in the Northern Territory (‘NT’), Australia by the Northern Territory Racing Commission (‘NTRC’) to accept wagers (‘bets’) by electronic transmission and telephone.
1.3 Any reference to a discretion which may be exercised by Dabble Sports under these Rules means Dabble Sports' sole and absolute discretion. Dabble Sports will exercise its discretion in a reasonable manner.
2. Customer Accounts
2.1 If you wish to become a registered Customer of Dabble Sports, you will need to open a betting account with Dabble Sports (‘Account’). A 'Customer' is a person who holds an Account, and any reference to 'you' or 'your' in these Rules is a reference to a Customer.
2.2 To open an Account with Dabble Sports , you must be aged 18 years or older.
2.3 You agree that the service offered by Dabble Sports is the ability to place a bet via the Dabble Sports website, www.dabble.com.au (‘Website’), and the Dabble Sports mobile applications (collectively, the ‘Dabble Sports Applications’), and telephone betting, and the settling of that bet once an outcome is known.
2.7 You are responsible for ensuring that your Account details and payment information are correct and kept up to date, and you must notify us immediately if any of your Account details or payment information are, or become, incorrect. You must notify us of changes to these details or payment information by logging in to your Account and changing the existing details or payment information accordingly.
2.8 If any of your Account details are incorrect or you have not kept your Account details up to date, we reserve the right to suspend your Account.
2.9 You must immediately notify Dabble Sports of any matter (including any potential mental impairment) which may lead us to reasonably infer that your ability to make sound judgments about betting in respect of your Account may be impaired, we reserve the right to suspend and/or close your Account.
2.10 You may only have one Account. If you have additional Account(s), then Dabble Sports has the right to consolidate those Accounts into a single Account. While multiple Accounts are in breach of our Rules, you are responsible for all transactions on Accounts which you hold or which we suspect, on reasonable grounds, that you opened.
2.11 In accordance with its NTRC Licence conditions, Dabble Sports maintains a separate bank account which contains sufficient funds to match Customer balances and future bets. This serves to protect Customer funds in the event of insolvency.
2.12 In this Section 2, and elsewhere in the Rules, Dabble Sports has reserved the right to close and/or suspend an Account in certain circumstances. For the purposes of these Rules, and before closing or suspending your Account, Dabble Sports will endeavour to provide you with prior notice of its intention to close or suspend your Account and provide you with an opportunity to provide reasons as to why your Account should not be closed or suspended. However, in certain circumstances, it may not be possible for Dabble Sports to provide you with prior notice or an opportunity to provide reasons due to our legal, regulatory and contractual obligations. This includes contravening the Dabble's Community Guidelines and Banter channels.
3. Restricted Locations
3.1 Dabble Sports does not permit Accounts to be opened by, or used by, persons who reside outside Australia. You agree that you shall not open an Account, nor attempt to use an Account, if you are outside Australia.
3.2 You accept that if we detect activity which indicates to us that you are, or may be, outside Australia when opening or betting on your Account, we may, at our discretion, suspend or close your Account. Winnings may be forfeited for bets placed while outside Australia.
4. Customer Identification
4.1 To open an Account with Dabble Sports, you must comply with our Customer Identification requirements to enable us to verify your identity and confirm you are over 18.
4.2 You are required to provide Dabble Sports with certain identification information including your name, residential address, date of birth, and details about your income. We need this to comply with legal obligations, such as the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth).
4.3 As part of our account opening process, you accept and consent to Dabble Sports supplying your identification information to a third party service (e.g., Edentiti, GreenID etc.) for the purpose of verifying your identity and re-verification (as applicable), against third party databases and/or credit headers. This electronic verification process is reliable; however, it cannot verify all customers in this way. This is not a fault of individual customers. None of your personal financial information is passed between third party ID verification providers and Dabble Sports. We may also use other public information and third-party databases services to verify your source of wealth/source of funds.
4.4 If we can’t verify your identification information during account opening because you have not provided the relevant information to Dabble Sports, your Account will be temporarily suspended, without notice, pending an investigation. During this time, you won’t be able to deposit funds or place a bet until you are verified.
4.5 To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, we may also ask for additional documents for example proof of your current address and source of wealth/source of funds. Acting reasonably, Dabble Sports may at any time request these documents and/or information to ensure that all information supplied by you is up to date. Acceptable proof of current address in such circumstances may include, at our discretion, a certified copy of one or more of the following documents (which must be dated no more than 3 months prior to the date that the customer provides the document to Dabble Sports):
a) a rates notice;
b) a utility bill.
4.6 In some cases we may need official certified copies of your identification documents and source of wealth/source of funds documents by a permitted certifier. All certified documents must be produced in English or they will be rejected. Upon our request Dabble Sports reserves the right to carry out checks on or contact the individual certifying the documents.
4.7 If you deliberately provide false documents or refuse to provide them, we have the right to suspend or close your Account.
4.8 If you use a credit or debit card to fund your Account, we may request clear copies (of the front and back of the card, with card number partly redacted) for verification purposes. Please note that we have the discretion to reject a Credit card for various reasons, including situations where the Credit card is declined or not valid. Credit cards used to fund your Account must match the registered name on your Account. If the name on the Credit card differs from the registered Account holder's name, we may refuse the transaction until we receive consent from the third-party Cardholder. We also reserve the right to request a copy of the front and back of the card linked to your Account at any time. Please be aware that receipt of a card doesn't guarantee the activation or reactivation of your account.
5. Account Security
5.1 You are responsible for ensuring that your username and password (‘Secure Customer Details’) are kept confidential. If you suspect that your Secure Customer Details may no longer be confidential or that there may have been unauthorised use of your Account, you must notify us immediately via email at email@example.com or by calling us on 1800 322 253.
5.2 You will be responsible for all bets on your Account.
5.3 If minors have access to a laptop or computer that you use to log into your Account, Dabble Sports strongly recommends that a child protection software package (e.g. Cyber Patrol and Net Nanny) is installed onto that equipment.
5.4 Dabble Sports app contains adult content and is intended for use by persons over the age of 18.
5.5 In order to use the Dabble Sports app we advise that location data and the DeviceID from your device while using the app will be accessed and used by our integrated security systems to alert us to suspicious activity, for the purpose of protecting your account security and preventing fraud.
5.6 Account Security Measures: We prioritise the security of your Dabble Sports account. To safeguard against unauthorised access and account takeover, we strongly recommend that you employ the following security measures:
a. Strong Passwords: Please ensure that you use a strong and unique password for your Dabble Sports account. A strong password typically includes a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
b. Face ID/Fingerprint login: Consider using Face ID or Fingerprint to login to your Account. This technology provides an extra layer of security if your iPhone is lost or stolen.
c. Account Recovery Information: Maintain accurate and up-to-date account recovery information, such as a valid email address and phone number, to assist in account recovery in case of any unforeseen issues.
6. Inactive Accounts
6.1 Your Account will become an ‘Inactive Account’ if you have not made a deposit or placed a bet on your Account for a period of more than 24 months. To keep an Inactive Account open you must pay an Administration Fee of $10 per month ('Administration Cost') which will be deducted from your Inactive Account until your Account balance is $0. To avoid the Administration Cost, you can either place a bet or withdraw your funds into your bank account, at which point your Account will no longer be deemed an Inactive Account.

7.1 Dabble Sports provides the ability for Customers to exclude themselves from being able to deposit or bet with their Dabble Sports account either permanently or for a set period of time (options include 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days).
7.2 Dabble Sports makes every reasonable effort to prevent self-excluded Customers from returning and using our service.
7.3 We may retain such personal information as is necessary and for as long as is necessary to implement the self-exclusion facility as effectively as possible, including your name, address, date of birth and payment details.
7.4 Dabble Sports provides pre-commitment facilities to help you control your spend which can be accessed via the Account section of Dabble Sports’ Applications. This restricts the total level of deposits to a set amount for a specified rolling period (1 day, 7 days, 30 days).
7.5 If Dabble Sports considers that you have deliberately circumvented responsible gambling controls (e.g. by opening a duplicate Account) and placed bets while you are self-excluded, the following will occur.
- open/pending bets will be voided and the original stake will be returned to your Account;
- any bonus bets will be forfeited;
- settled bets will be voided; and
- the balance of your Account will be returned to you.
7.6 Any Dabble Sports account that has Self exclusion restrictions imposed, all Pending bets will become void and stakes returned to the clients account.
8.1 Deposits into an Account can be made by means of credit or debit card (card).
8.2. We reserve the right to remove or add payment options from time to time.
8.3 If we determine that funds deposited are not for the purpose of betting, we may, in our discretion, decline the deposit, return the funds to the bank account used to fund the Dabble Sports Account, and suspend or close your Account. We may also notify relevant authorities of your activity.
8.4 If we determine that the funds deposited are not from a funding instrument in your name, or are not expressly authorised to be used by you, we reserve the right to decline the deposit and return the funds to the original payment method. If this determination takes place after bets have been placed, we reserve the right to void any resulted or pending bets on your Account.
8.5 If we determine that there is not enough information to prove the identity of the owner of a card, we reserve the right to request certified documentation as proof of ownership.
8.6 We reserve the right to check directly with your funding institution to confirm that the details provided by you to Dabble Sports are valid and correct.
8.7 We require that any deposits into your Account be turned over at least once or 'bet through' prior to authorising a withdrawal from your Account.
8.8 We reserve the right to waive Rule 8.7 if an error is made during a transaction, or for any other reason, determined at our discretion.
8.9 By depositing into a Dabble Sports Account you accept that, at our discretion, we may refund the value of your deposit back to the original card.
8.10 Should we consider that a deposit may be fraudulent, we reserve the right to request proof of account information to verify that the information provided is true and correct prior to permitting funds to be withdrawn from your Account.
8.11 If we determine that a deposit into an Account may cause us to contravene our legal and regulatory obligations, we reserve the right to cancel the deposit.
8.12 Subject to Rule 8.13, we do not charge Customers for credit or debit card deposits. Card holders may incur a banking fee from their own banking institution on depositing funds with Dabble Sports, and it is the card holder’s responsibility to pay any such fee.
8.13 We reserve the right to pass on any transaction processing fees to you if we determine that deposits have been made into your Account for purposes other than betting.
8.14 You agree that as the Account holder, you are the only person permitted to use your Dabble Sports Account (including accessing, betting with, depositing funds into, and withdrawing funds from your Account). Third party bank account holders or card holders must not transact on an Account that has not been registered in their name and using their identification details. You must use your own or joint deposit and withdrawal methods. If Dabble Sports detects third party payments on an Account, we reserve the right to suspend the Account and may request confirmation of permitted use from you and that third party. We may also notify relevant authorities of the activity on your Account.
8.15 If we successfully identify third party transactions on an Account, to the extent permitted by law, we reserve the right to remedy the situation in our discretion.
8.16 We reserve the right to place limits on, restrict or prohibit Account deposits and withdrawals if you have not fulfilled the Customer Identification requirements set out in Section 4.
8.17 Dabble Sports only accepts deposits in Australian Dollars. Any figures in your Account are displayed in Australian Dollars.
9. Deposit Limits
9.1 As a responsible bookmaker, Dabble Sports offers you the ability to control the amount you bet by setting a limit on the amount you can deposit to your Account per day, week or month (a deposit limit). While requests to decrease limits will be put in place immediately, any request to increase (or remove) your deposit limit is subject to a cooling off period of at least 7 days before the increase (or removal) is put in place.
10. Charge backs
10.1 You agree and warrant that no chargebacks or other cancellation of deposits will be made relating to your Account without our consent. In the event of any of the foregoing occurring, you agree to indemnify us for any costs, claims, damages and expenses relating to or arising in connection with this, including any expense incurred by us in recovering such amounts.
10.2 If you dispute a financial transaction on your Account relating to a third party (e.g. a bank) Dabble Sports may temporarily suspend your Account. If we incur any loss from that dispute, we reserve our right to recover such losses from you.
11.1 Withdrawals from an account can be made to an Australian bank account.
11.2 Should we consider that a withdrawal may be fraudulent, we reserve the right to request proof of deposit or withdrawal bank account information to verify that the information provided is true and correct prior to permitting funds to be withdrawn from your Account.
11.3 If we determine that a withdrawal from an Account may cause us to contravene our legal and regulatory obligations, we reserve the right to cancel the withdrawal.
11.4 We do not charge Customers for withdrawals. However, card holders may incur a banking fee from their own banking institution on withdrawing funds from Dabble Sports, and it is the card holder’s responsibility to pay any such fee.
12.1 We reserve the right to withhold deposited funds and/or winnings from settled bets should we determine that a deposit or withdrawal has been made fraudulently. Any matters of inappropriate or fraudulent use of any deposit method will be reported to the relevant authority. Your Account may also be closed.
12.2 Dabble Sports may employ third party technologies to track and store technical information on the device that Customers choose to use. Customers accept that this data may be used to reach decisions on investigations where Accounts have been operated in a manner which is contrary to these Rules or applicable laws, including but not limited to Account takeover, bonus or betting abuse, multiple Account operations, and payment fraud.
12.3 Dabble Sports reserves the right to close the Accounts of, and void any or all bets made by any person, group of people or corporation in an attempt to defraud Dabble Sports.
12.4 Dabble Sports may periodically review Accounts to monitor any activity that it might consider unusual. Dabble Sports reserves the right to suspend an Account pending an investigation, without notice.
12.5 Dabble Sports does not permit beneficial owners that are not the registered account holder, or any arrangements or schemes that do or may facilitate this. Where we reasonably suspect a third party beneficial owner, we reserve the right to close the Account and/or void any resulted or pending bets on your Account.
13. Device Usage
13.1 Registration of just one Dabble Sports account per device is allowed. The usage of multiple devices will be considered a violation of these Terms and Conditions. If such a situation arises, we hold the authority to close the account and/or nullify any active or pending bets on your account.
13.2 Device Registration: Each customer is permitted to register only one Dabble Sports account per individual device. The usage of multiple devices to access a single Dabble Sports account is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of these Terms and Conditions.
13.3 Account Violations: In the event that we detect any violation of the device usage policy as outlined in Section 13.1, Dabble Sports reserves the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to:
a. Account Closure: Dabble Sports may, at its discretion, close the customer's account found to be in violation of the device usage policy.
b. Investigation: Dabble Sports may conduct an investigation into the nature of the violation and take further action as deemed necessary, including reporting the violation to relevant authorities
c. Voiding of Bets: Dabble Sports may void any active or pending bets associated with an account that has violated the device usage policy.
14. Dabble Sports’ Rights
14.1 Dabble Sports reserves the right to cancel, change or restrict the products or bet types at any time with or without notice to Customers.
14.2 Dabble Sports has made considerable efforts to ensure that its sports betting business operates in a fair, efficient and accurate manner. To the extent permitted by law, Dabble Sports excludes all warranties (express or implied) relating to or arising out of the betting services we offer and excludes any liability for direct, indirect or consequential loss, damage, expense or injury suffered by you arising out of these Rules, use of your Account, or any action taken by us in relation to your Account.
14.3 Nothing in these Rules affects our liability to pay any Customer winnings or other amounts properly owing to such Customer pursuant to these Rules, for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, for our fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any matter in respect of which our liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
14.4. To the extent permitted by law, Dabble Sports’ liability in respect of any claim or loss related to a bet shall be limited in amount to the stake of the bet.
14.5. If a Customer receives a bonus bet as a result of a deposit being made, the deposit and the bonus bet must be turned over (or bet through) at least once. Dabble Sports reserves the right to remove the bonus bet and refund the remaining balance should a Customer be in breach of these Rules.
14.6. Dabble Sports’ products and bet types are intended for bona fide Customers, that is, those Customers who act in good faith, sincerely, without fraud, and who place a bet with Dabble Sports for the purpose of recreation and entertainment.
14.7. Dabble Sports reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine that a Customer is not eligible for certain products, bet types or promotions.
14.8. To the extent permitted by law, Dabble Sports reserves the right to close or suspend the Accounts of, and/or void or allow to stand any or all bets made by any person where, in Dabble Sports’ reasonable opinion, a person:
- knowingly exploits, or intentionally seeks, to exploit a market or a Rule (including by deception);
- seeks to manipulate the outcome of a market (whether or not for personal gain);
- receives an unjust advantage from information which is not known to the public;
- intentionally abuses an inadvertent error in the description of a market (whether before or after Dabble Sports corrects the relevant description); or
- breaches any applicable laws.
14.9 Where you have been referred to Dabble Sports by a third party including by a third party operated website and where that third party is an affiliate or agent of Dabble Sports, you acknowledge that Dabble Sports may make commission payments to that third party. Payments to agents or affiliates are unrelated to the odds offered to Customers by Dabble Sports.
15. Placement and Acceptance of Bets
15.1 All bets on your Account are considered to be placed and received in the Northern Territory (‘NT’), Australia.
15.2 Dabble Sports does not represent or warrant that any bet by a Customer on their Account or the acceptance of any bet on an Account by Dabble Sports complies with the legal requirements of any jurisdiction outside of the NT. You assume full responsibility for complying with all applicable legal and regulatory obligations imposed in your jurisdiction, including in relation to:
- opening an Account with Dabble Sports;
- depositing funds to your Account;
- placing bets with Dabble Sports; and
- receiving winnings from Dabble Sports.
15.3 Dabble Sports reserves the right at any time to refuse any bet request or part of a bet request without providing a reason or advance notification. The circumstances in which we may refuse your bet request include but are not limited to:
- you are or may be less than 18 years of age;
- you are or may be betting on behalf of a person who is less than 18 years of age;
- you are or may be in breach of these Rules;
- you are or may be in breach of any applicable law; or
- your proposed bet would present an unacceptable liability risk to our business.
Whether there is an unacceptable liability risk to us for the purpose of this Rule is at Dabble Sports’ discretion.
15.4 Dabble Sports reserves the right to impose limits on your Account (including limits on any Dabble Sports products that a Customer may wish to bet on), without providing reasons. In this event, we will honour any outstanding bets made pursuant to the Account, unless your Account has been used for any fraudulent transaction or purpose, in which case any such bets will be void.
15.5 When you are making a bet on your Account via the Internet, it is accepted once you submit the bet and a receipt number (Bet ID) is issued.
15.6 When you make a bet on your Account via the telephone, you are responsible for providing the correct Account details. When you make a bet via the telephone, it will be repeated back to you. A bet is accepted when you either indicate agreement with a bet after it has been read-back to you or, when speaking with a Dabble Sports representative, if you do not disagree with the bet details, when read-back to you before the telephone call ends.
15.7 In the event a telephone call by a Customer in which a bet is being placed is interrupted for any reason (including a mobile phone dropping out) prior to the conclusion of the call, any unconfirmed bet will be deemed not to have been entered into. In such circumstances, it is your responsibility to contact us promptly to confirm the bet you wish to make.
15.8 Dabble Sports will make a voice recording of all telephone calls with Customers when they are placing a bet, making a complaint, or making a query regarding their Account. You agree to such recordings being made. Where a 'Dispute' (defined in Rule 15) occurs which cannot be resolved between you and Dabble Sports, you agree that the recording(s) and/or any records of your transactions via the App may be made available to the adjudicator of the Dispute to enable the Dispute to be determined in accordance with these Rules. All records of voice recordings will be securely retained by us in accordance with our privacy obligations for regulatory purposes.
15.9 You are unable to change or cancel a bet once the bet has been accepted by Dabble Sports unless:
- you can otherwise demonstrate to Dabble Sports’ satisfaction that the initial bet was made in error; in which case Dabble Sports may, at its discretion, void the bet.
15.10 The minimum bet on the Internet is $0.01c and via the telephone is a total of $20.
15.11 in-play betting is where you place a bet after an event has begun (e.g. betting on the outcome of an AFL football match at quarter time). In compliance with the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth), we do not accept in-play betting over the Internet but may accept in-play betting via the telephone.
15.12 In-play betting markets are subject to the same rules as those that apply pre-match. While reasonable effort is made to ensure the accuracy of live scores and the status of games displayed on Dabble Sports Applications in connection with live betting, we accept no liability for the incorrect display of this information.
16. Bet Settlement General Rules
16.1 To the extent there is any inconsistency between these Bet Settlement General Rules and rules applying to a specific event or race, the specific event or race rules will prevail.
16.2 If an event or events occurs beyond the reasonable control of Dabble Sports including an epidemic, pandemic, natural disaster, act of war, terrorism, riot, labour disruption or other cause that materially impacts any sporting or racing fixture which is the subject of a betting market offered by Dabble Sports, Dabble Sports may (acting reasonably) refund, restrict or otherwise alter any affected bet or adjust the payout (in whole or in part) of the affected bet(s) placed on the relevant betting market.
16.3 Where a governing body makes a material change to the structure of a fixture or season and Dabble Sports considers that such a change will have a material impact on a betting market on or related to that fixture or season (including where the venue or a fixture has been changed), all bets on affected markets may be refunded, restricted or have their payout adjusted (in whole or in part) by Dabble Sports at its discretion. All affected bets (including legs of Multi Bets) will be recalculated accordingly.
16.4 Clauses 16.4.1, 16.4.2 and 16.4.3 together are known as the “Dead Heat Rule” and are used to determine payouts in certain circumstances where more than one winner is declared in a betting market.
16.4.1 In the event of a tie, draw or dead heat where no ‘tie’, 'draw' or ‘dead heat’ option was offered by Dabble Sports within a betting market, wagers will be paid at face value of the ticket (odds multiplied by the stake) divided by the number of competitors drawing for that placing, unless otherwise stated in the rules of that market.
16.4.2 In the event for which Each Way betting is available, place ties will be paid such that the Place portion of the face value of the ticket is multiplied by the remaining number of places available and divided by the number of competitors tying for those available number of placings.
16.4.3 In the event of a tie or dead heat where ‘tie’, 'draw' or ‘dead heat’ options (or equivalent) were offered by Dabble Sports, then all bets on the ‘tie’, 'draw' or ‘dead heat’ option will be paid out as winning bets and all bets on other options will be settled as losing bets. Where a draw option is offered, the bet is decided on the result at the end of normal time for all sports unless stated otherwise.
16.5. 'All-In' means that regardless whether or not a particular competitor or team or member of a team starts or completes the event on which a bet is placed, all bets stand and no refunds will be payable for non-participants.
16.6 The maximum payout by Dabble Sports to any one individual or entity (or group deemed by Dabble Sports to be acting on behalf of any one individual or entity) on a fixed odds single or Multi Bet on any of the sports or other events listed in these Rules, Racing Rules, General Sport Rules and Individual Sport Rules is limited to $100,000. Should you place Multi Bets that are similar to each other with respect to the legs in them, that would result in the total payout of those bets exceeding $100,000, Dabble Sports may at its discretion void, refund or amend the payout of the Multi Bets to bring the total payout $100,000.
16.7 If official results are adjusted after a sporting or racing event ends, Dabble reserves the right to adjust resulted outcomes accordingly to ensure accuracy in resulting based on the updated official outcomes of the sporting or racing event.
16.8 Dabble Sports aims to ensure that bets are settled accurately for all sports and racing events. Dabble Sports has the authority to correct errors that may occur during the settlement of a bet. These errors could result from technical issues, human mistakes, or other factors. In cases where a significant error has occurred during the settlement of a betting market, Dabble Sports reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to the results of bets to maintain accuracy. This might include modifying the outcomes based on updated and official results from the sports or racing event. In making adjustments to affected markets and results, it may affect the payouts on bets placed on affected markets and results. This means that if an error is identified and corrected, the amount you receive may be different from the original settled amount.
17. Account Correction
17.1 In the event of a significant error as outlined in 16.8 , whether due to human or other factors, pertaining to any of our betting products or an event within a betting product, we reserve the right to declare the erroneous transaction void and withhold any winning payments. Should we mistakenly pay you an amount exceeding what you are rightfully entitled to, you are required to promptly reimburse us upon our request for the amount incorrectly paid or overpaid.
17.2 By using our services, you grant us permission to adjust your Account, to rectify the error, reflect the true outcome, and recover any funds that were erroneously paid to you.
17.3 You also agree to promptly inform us of any situation that may come to your attention, indicating an incorrect balance in your Account, or where incorrect winnings or dividends have been applied to your Account, including instances where funds have been credited to your Account in error. Unless we notify you otherwise, any bets or transactions related to funds in your Account due to errors will be declared void.
18.1 Dabble Sports endeavours to ensure that no errors are made in setting markets, including but not limited to errors in prices offered, available selections offered, bets accepted on an Account or any errors in exclusions for certain selections. Dabble Sports reserves the right to correct errors and to void any bets prior to or after an event in circumstances where a bet has been accepted and where there has been a material technical, human or other error in setting a market and/or in accepting a bet.
18.2 Where a bet is voided by Dabble Sports prior to an event commencing, Dabble Sports will endeavour to contact you promptly to inform you that the bet has been voided.
18.3 For the purposes of this section, an error in setting a market or accepting a bet will be material in any of the following circumstances:
- the price struck for a bet is materially greater than a price historically offered on the same or a similar market by Dabble Sports or a competitor bookmaker;
- there is an error in the price of at least one selection which forms part of a multiple bet, the combined effect of which results in a materially erroneous price;
- the available selection(s) on a market are so different from the selection(s) historically offered on the same or a similar market by Dabble Sports or a competitor bookmaker; or
- a person with a good understanding of wagering would reasonably understand that there was an error in a relevant market or in the acceptance of the bet.
18.4 For the purpose of this Section 17:
- a bet includes a single bet or a multiple bet; and
- if the erroneous price or selection is part of a multiple bet placed by a Customer, the multiple bet will be either re-calculated at adjusted prices or by excluding the event to which the error relates, at Dabble Sports’ absolute discretion.
19. Dispute Resolution
19.1 If you wish to make a complaint, or if you have a dispute with Dabble Sports, please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
19.2 If any dispute between you and Dabble Sports cannot be resolved, you can refer the dispute to a representative of the NTRC via the online 'gambling dispute form' found at https://nt.gov.au/industry/gambling/complain-about-a-bookmaker/gambling-dispute-form for final determination. A dispute must be lodged with the NTRC within 14 days of the date the relevant bet was placed. If a dispute is lodged outside of this period, an application for “out of time” consideration should accompany lodgement of the dispute. The decision of the NTRC is final and binding on Dabble Sports and the Customer.
20. Multi Bets
20.1 A multi bet is where you can combine more than one betting selection (leg) into the bet, and where all of the legs must win for your bet to be paid out as a winner. Standard multi bets have the odds of each leg multiplied to calculate the total odds of the multi bet.
20.2 Should one leg in a multi bet be refunded due to the rules that apply to that leg’s market, the total odds may be recalculated excluding that leg. If all legs of a multi bet are refunded, then the multi bet itself will be refunded.
20.3 Multi bets are not accepted where the outcome of one part of the bet contributes or is related to the outcome of another (related multis). If such bets are inadvertently accepted, Dabble Sports reserves the right to declare the whole multi bet void and refund the bet.
20.4 In the event of a dead heat in one or more multi bet legs, standard Dead Heat rules apply.
21. Bonus Cash
21.1 Dabble Sports may as part of a promotion, offer or discretionary reward, issue you with Bonus Cash.
21.2 Bonus Cash is able to be used to place a bet. Payouts on bets placed with bonus cash will be paid out in cash but exclude the stake amount. (for example, a bet of $10 using bonus cash at odds of 5.0 would result in $40 of winnings being credited to your account, but the $10 Bonus Cash would not be credited to your Account).
21.3 Using Bonus Cash as part of a 'no loss wagering strategy’ is strictly prohibited. This includes placing bets on all likely outcomes of an event with a combination of bonus and non-bonus cash. If you breach this rule, Dabble Sports may cancel any bets placed in this way and may at its discretion immediately expire bonus cash from your account so it cannot be used.
21.4 You may use any Bonus Cash credited to your Account on any fixture within 14 days from the time the Bonus Cash appears in your Account. If unused, the Bonus Cash will expire after this time period.
21.5 Bonus Cash may be restricted from being used for some bet types, sports or fixtures at Dabble Sports’ discretion.
21.6 Bonus Cash cannot be transferred, withdrawn or redeemed for cash or cash equivalent.
21.7 If your Bonus Cash was credited as a result of a deposit being made and your deposit is refunded (in part of whole), any unused Bonus Cash credited as part of that deposit being made will be forfeited.
21.8 Where a Promotional Offer would credit Bonus Cash as part of that promotion, this will be clearly stated in the terms of that promotional offer.
22. Intellectual Property and Use of Dabble Sports Applications
22.1 You acknowledge and agree that the Dabble Sports Applications contain material which is owned, or licensed to us, which is protected by Australian and international laws, including (without limitation), trade marks, trading names, logos and software (Dabble Sports IP).
22.2 Nothing in these Rules constitutes a transfer of ownership of the Dabble Sports IP to you or a grant of a licence to you without Dabble Sports’ prior written consent.
22.3 You acknowledge and agree that you will not infringe on the Dabble Sports IP or seek to reproduce or store, copy, change, upload, republish or transmit the Dabble Sports IP without our prior written consent.
22.5 You are prohibited from using the Dabble Sports Applications:
- for any unlawful purpose;
- to contravene the intellectual property rights of any third party;
- to engage in inappropriate conduct, which includes harassment, abusive or threatening behaviour, defamation, discrimination or incitement of violence; or
- to do anything which harms, or interferes with, the operation of the Dabble Sports Applications, including introducing viruses or other forms of malicious technology or software, spamming, phishing or scraping.
Acting reasonably, we reserve the right to prevent, suspend or otherwise restrict your access to the Dabble Sports Applications if you use the Dabble Sports Applications in a prohibited manner. If appropriate, we may also report your activity to the relevant authorities.
22.6 We may be obliged to prevent suspend or otherwise restrict your access to the Dabble Sports Applications, in whole or in part, because of circumstances outside of our control, including amendments to our legal and regulatory obligations. If possible, we will provide you with prior notice of any change to your ability to access the Dabble Sports Applications in these circumstances.
23. Governing Law
23.1 These Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the NT.
23.2 Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the NT courts, and any courts which have jurisdiction to hear appeals from the NT courts.
23.3 If any of these Rules are found to be invalid, unenforceable or unlawful by a court in any jurisdiction, then that Rule will cease to apply in that jurisdiction and is deemed to have been excluded from the Terms in that jurisdiction. This does not impact on the remaining Rules.
23.4 Our decision not to exercise any right or power in these Rules does not cause a waiver of that right or power.
