12.1.1 For the purposes of categorisation Dabble groups markets on non-sporting events such as reality TV programs, current affairs and news events, weather events, beauty pageants, music, tv and film awards and sports novelty markets as Entertainment Markets.
12.1.2 Dabble reserves the right to suspend Entertainment markets at any time and to reject, requote a different price or limit a customer’s stake on any Entertainment Markets.
12.2 Postponements & Abandonments
12.2.1 The event must be completed in the advertised calendar year with official results declared for bets to stand.
12.2.2 Bets on TV shows will be void if the show is not broadcast in the calendar year originally scheduled for broadcast.
12.2.3 Bets on Award Ceremonies and Beauty Pageants will be void and stakes refunded if the event is officially cancelled by event organisers or is not held in the original scheduled calendar year.
12.3 Resulting & Settlement of Markets
12.3.1 Markets will be resulted as per the results published by the relevant organising body.
12.3.2 Should multiple winners be declared for an event dead heat rules will apply.
12.3.3 Any subsequent amendments to official results, whatever the reason, will not be considered for resulting and bet settlement purposes.
12.3.4 Markets are offered on an ‘all-in’ basis unless otherwise specified.
12.3.5 In the event of the series being cancelled before an official winner is declared, bets will be settled as a dead heat between the contestants that have not been eliminated. Outright bets on contestants already eliminated will be treated as losing selections.
12.4 Maximum Payouts
12.4.1 The Batchelor and Bachelorette Australia, Big Brother Australia, MasterChef Australia, Oscars, Grammy Awards and Logies - $5,000
All other Entertainment Markets - $2,000
12.5 Reality TV Programs
12.5.1 Winner Markets
12.5.2 You are betting on the contestant or team that is declared the winner in the final episode of the show.
12.5.3 Dead Heat rules apply if more than 1 winner is announced. Contestants may be added to the market at any time.
12.5.4 Should no winner be announced bets on remaining contestants will be void and stakes refunded unless there are 3 or less contestants remaining, in which case the remaining contestants will be settled as the winner with Dead Heat rules applied. Bets on contestants already eliminated will be settled as losers.
12.5.5 Any bet inadvertently accepted after betting has closed, or where the event was resolved, or at a stage where the customer could have any indication of the outcome will be voided.
12.5.6 Some reality TV shows maybe pre-recorded, and the result may be known before the official result is announced.
12.6 Eviction/Elimination Markets
12.6.1 You are betting on the next contestant(s) to be evicted or eliminated.
12.6.2 These markets only apply to official eliminations and evictions.
12.6.3 Any contestant leaving of their own accord or removed by producers will not be treated as the next eliminated/evictee for betting purposes.
12.6.4 In the event the initial line up for elimination/eviction be changed then Dabble reserves the right to void the associated market with all stakes refunded.
12.7 Awards Ceremonies
12.7.1 You are betting on the entrant to win the Nominated Award.
12.7.2 All Awards markets are offered on an ‘all -in’ basis. Contestants may be added to the market at any time.
12.7.3 Should multiple winners be announced Dead Heat Rules will apply.
12.8 Weather Markets
12.8.1 Maximum/Minimum Temperature Markets - You are betting on the maximum or minimum temperature recorded in the nominated city or town. Results are as per the official statistics publish by the national weather bureau of the country the city or town.
12.8.2 All markets offered on Australian Weather events are resulted as per the Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) http://www.bom.gov.au/
